Raghav Wanted To Know:: What should I expect in a technical interview?
So this is my first technical interview for my first professional real job.
Here is the experience required for the job.
EXPERIENCE:

*Experience in Java.
*General knowledge of design and integration principles for complex IT environments.
*Experience with Web Service standards / technologies (XML, SOAP, REST, etc.)
*Unix development experience is beneficial.
*Experience working with relational database systems such as DB2/MS SQL/Oracle, etc.

This is for an ENTRY LEVEL job at Yum! Brands. I just want some details from anybody who has had a technical interview. Will they ask me detailed questions about every bullet point?
btw this is a phone interview.

lilibug2000 Wanted To Know:: What to do when you restore your ipod touch and it wont turn back on after?
Ok. So I restored my ipod touch and it wont turn on! Right after I restored it a little loading spinning thing stays on for like 5 hours.. I’ve been sitting here forever waiting for it to turn back on.. HELP!!!

JOJO Wanted To Know:: Do I need to download anything on my macbook to view more videos online?
I just bought a new macbook and I can view most videos online, but some I click on and my download file pops up and downloads it I guess . . . then another window pops up with a whole bunch of giberish and it fails to show me the video. Do I need to download windows media player or something?

Possibly you may need Adobe Flash http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/
(like for Youtube) or Flip4Mac WMV, http://www.flip4mac.com/
or VLC for Mac. http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-macosx.html
With those 3 apps you can pretty much watch every form of internet video codec. Anything else is probably just a PC virus attempt. They are ALL FREE downloads.

Alice Wanted To Know:: How exactly does colorwarepc work?
Do you send something of yours in? Or can you buy it straight off their website? Does it come out well?

Second questions:
Is it possible to use a mac laptop if you have microsoft? Like an apple one?

colorwarepc is a site that sales apple products..but doesn’t necessarily supply support for these products
it is possible to use microsoft on a laptop…you can use bootcamp to install the windows operating system….you can download it from:

Keep in mind though, that apple will not support any product that installs windows, including bootcamp…as it is in it’s beta version

Goldbricker Wanted To Know:: How do I easily launch Mac documents with VMWare Windows programs?
I’m running Mac OS X Leopard and VMWare with Windows Vista. If I have a file in Mac OS X, is there an easy way to open the file with a VMWare Windows Vista program without copying it to a shared folder? Are there any third party plugins out for this?

No as far as I know you need to copy your file from Leopard to the transfer folder and pick it up there.
I have Parallels on my iMac and that is how I do it. At this stage I would consider VMware to be the”3rd” party.

I gather Apple is working on virtualisation in Leopard to allow Windows apps to be “run” with out needing VMware or Bootcamp – but that is just a rumor.

What apps or files are you needing to copy over to Windows and why?

Also to answer you original question – you can’t launch a Mac app with Windows in VMware – you can only open a document with the appropriate application.

The jobs for system administrator will be there only you have to find out.

Employment agencies will work depending on company requirements.

It appears you are win sys admin where as local requirements are Linux is it so? then you have to go for Linux sys admin training.

Wanted To Know:: What is “wmv” when it comes to downloading a video?
I’m trying to download this short video into my friend’s computer, but when it downloads, the video doesn’t pop up. Instead, I get some crazy japanese writing on microsoft word. How do I get this video to play? By the way, I’m using a MAC….I’m not sure what I have to do to get the video to play.

wmv is a microsoft format, if you want you can try www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html and download to convert. i’m not a mac person but it should work :/
